Ok, I'm here at work, and I rode (been riding the VFR everyday just about for 5 months)....who else rode their bike to work today??

Saw maybe a few more bikes than usual this morning, however, I start early, so not as many people on the road as later on.

Rode the Viffer, like every other day this week. I don't think there are any extra bikes out there this morning in my lot at work.

Sutka... I need reminders for this organized stuff.

I whimped and drove the big Honda after the VFR's done the task for weeks, so I could take folks to lunch and stay dry on the way home.

I've been riding my VFR to work since I bought it a few weeks ago. I've only seen 10 other motorcycles out of around a 1000 cars in the lot.

Anyone have dedicated cycle parking where they work?

Hey, this is an official day sir, you are neglecting your civic duty as a bike owner, and especially a VFR owner! Now go back home and get that girl dressed! Just messin'!

Or weather (so cal) is a tad more dry than yours. No rain from May to October pretty much. :yo:

Does it count that I rode her from the house to the detatched garage this morning? I have an office in the attic above the garage, so I think it counts as riding to work... just not to the client site today.

So, I guess I even have special motorcycle parking at the office. Sweet!

Thats cheating! You have to get her out for people to see! What, your client doesn't want to ride on the back? haha! I'll let it slide this time!

Client riding on the back... hmmm. can you say WheelieeeEEEEEEck!

That would not be a good idea in my current situation, if you know what I mean.

(if you are reading this, be assured I am implying my other client, not you)

I'm here in one piece, although I have to say that in Vancouver the aggressive heavy truck traffic (container rigs) along my route is a little more intimidating on a bike than in the cage. I think I'd plan an alternate side street route if I did this every day, as well as leaving some normal shoes etc at work, these boots are hot and they hurt already...
...but I'm pumped to be part of something bigger for the cause and I did get here faster

The company I work for has dedicated bike parking for about a dozen bikes. There are curbs to keep cars out of the spots, and a strip of 1/4" steel on the ground for sidestands. Pretty cool.

I ride to work every chance I get, and even bike-pool with the wife some days. I rode yesterday, but todya is rainy and cool. I don't have any foulies, so the VFR stays home when it rains.:car:

I ride in most everyday but made sure I didn't have to do anything that would require the truck today. We have motorcycle parking here at work, we also have large hash marked areas at the end of each isle where a lot of bikes park. I left pretty early but did see a few more bikes out today.

I rode in same as near every time I work all year... Also, I changed my gas tank for a new one yesterday and a new tail section so my bike is closer to being back to normal after my low side in Dec. Now to get a left fairing. Everyone keep an eye out on flea bay for a clean one.

The trick there is to ride fast enough that the rain can't hit you!

Spike << used to live on Block Island, where I rode a Honda Nighthawk 450, my first bike
