New member from BC

Hello all,
Recently bought a 1991 Gen 3 750 in pretty nice shape, with only 38,000 Km's. Had to have the seat and cowl pad reupholstered, have stripped and checked the forks adding 10wt oil, and installed new Michelin Pilot Road 2s. New plugs and brake pads and fluids next, and she's ready for spring. A givi top case rack is on its way. This is a sister bike to two newish ( his and hers ) V-storm 650's and a successor to a '04 Concours, an '05 FJR, '09 Klr650 and '09 Vstrom 1000, plus the dark years when I had a couple of cruisers. This bike will have a collector plate (BC guys know what that's all about) for cheap insurance, as she's a keeper. Looking forward to joining in on the forum and perhaps meeting a few PacNW members. Welcome. A real British Columbian would have posted photos immediately. I am sure you now see the errors of your ways and will take corrective measures your first opportunity.

Used to visit Vernon often when I had family there but tbey moved back to Saskatoon. Ya. There is illness in my family. Lots of nice riding not far from you for sure.

Randy, did I meet up with you at a Best Western in Madras Oregon two Septembers ago - you riding with a guy on a Blackbird, me with a group of 6 riders.

There is a Nelson Ride coming up on the July 22-24 weekend. Put on by VFRD group but there are a few from here going as well http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/...y-hootenanny-july-22-24-2016-official-thread/ This is the first time I have gone with this group who have an annual ride some place or another on the western side of the continent. This year it is Nelson. One of the other guys who was with me then is also going but his VFR is now a spirit in the sky. Happened that trip. Maybe it was the year before. He has been on this group ride for several years now.

Come along. I am sure it will be a great group.

Thank God it was the bike you remembered and not me. For a moment I thought maybe I was walking around with a bad case of plumber's butt crack or something equally morbid.

Welcome to The World Pedro! Looking forward to pics, the 3 Gen is a beautiful bike, one of my favorite VFR models, red, white or whatever color, really a great looking bike IMO.
