Gee, a V4 with balls. No, I disagree. Honda doesn't have company. They haven't gotten to that neighborhood yet. If they do, Aprillia will have company. I've always know the V4 is a capable engine. Aprillia just proved it.

I know I sound like a Honda hater. I'm not. I'm just frustrated with them. They don't even seem to be trying.

My thinking was in regards to what Honda has in the new RC213V-S, My mistake if either was not in the same league or availability. Had heard that it's the WSBK new platform, but then knowing where the info comes from may prove me off kilter.

I think Honda knows too, otherwise they wouldn't be using it in their MotoGP bikes! Never thought the CBR should be their flagship Sportbike.

Used RSV4s are *not* that expensive. I've been responding to these "I want a V4 Honda superbike" threads for years with the suggestion that you go out and buy an Aprilia. Seriously. They're amazing bikes, and can be had for less than 10 grand in excellent condition. As their success continues, there are only gonna be more used ones entering the market every year.

Definitely doing well in WSBK, they won the last two races of the series, not quite able to keep up front in MotoGP though, but who knows about next year. As far as off the track and in the hands of "mortal men", definitely a viable bike for V4 fans!
