Tire Options

    My front tire is actually coming apart at just under 4k. What are you guys using for a longer lasting tire? I'm thinking Michelin Pilot 4's are in order.

    Can recommend the Pilot Road 4s, didn't like the slow turn in and flatish front tires profile of the Road 3's but they fixed it with a more rounded profile on the Road 4s. :smile:

    Well had two sets of PR3-that lasted 10,000+ miles, my 4's have squared off at 8,000... thinkin may do to commuting in 100+ degree weather for a good part of the summer, 42 psi...
    So what road surface was 130+....next set goin back to 3's since I dont ride in any chance of rain locally. JMO

    You might want to re-think that. Supposedly with the El Niño coming it's going to be a wet winter for us!

    Ya think maybe bikes goin to take a long nap...get the rear shock done and clutch cover...and I swear thats it!!!# oh maybe braided lines and then thats it...promise

    Don't overlook the Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart II's. They stick great and ride great. They also helped quicken the steering. I'm at 8,500 miles right now and plan to install a new set in 1,000 miles. Some great deals out there too.
