Always been a big fan of Nickey, hope he does well and Honda gives him a competitive bike ala RC51.
Honda really needs ta get there shit together when it comes to the getting to the top again .
There like the guy that shows up to the party with Schlitz malt liquor, even thow we did see this year something deffinatley changed with speed on the old iron.

:hss: What a race! Whatever you do, make sure you catch the Motegi race! Never would have predicted the outcome! I don't think I sat still the entire race!

Yeah, glad for for the outcome too, he gets way too many "hate" votes but has proven why he's got a factory ride time and time again! It's been said many times, luck has a lot to do with winning in racing. There are plenty of cases where both winners and losers can look at Lady Luck as being the decider of ones championship destiny.

Japan was a great race. Racecraft..................... Pedrosa was behind Rossi for a while and he saw how Rossi would ride OFF the race line and through water puddles to keep his tires cool. JL was running the raceline like a machine. His tires came off faster than Rossi's and I think that's why he ended in 3rd. Pedro is just so light that his tires under braking did not take as much of a beating giving him a little more longevity in his tires. The old man just took a huge step to getting his 10th championship.

It's funny that you say that Pedrosa followed Rossi's line. In the post racepress conference interview, Rossi said he used Pedrosa to catch up, "Danny helped me...following him, he give me slipstream, but also some good lines, some good information".

Regardless of who copied who, Rossi used his experience to capture his spot, where "Whore-gay" was too concerned about being the fastest and not thinking ahead and using different lines i.e. Wet ones, in order to help conserve/save his tires. He pretty much said so in the post race interview as well, he actually made it a point of saying how he was the fastest, in the dry and then in the wet. Being the fastest doesn't always mean your the best! None the less, it was a great race and one that really showcases, it's not over, til it's over!

That was after Pedrosa passed Rossi, until then Pedrosa was following Rossi. I would not have guessed the outcome of that race. 1 week until down under!

An excellent race, well done Pedrosa and Vale, Jorge needs to get his head together, a lesson he could learn from his team mate ... if his ego will let him

It was as much about the bikes as anything, the Yamaha is notoriously hard on the front end, which the Honda isn't ... good to see Marquez not throw it away again, his mental attitude must be in tatters now

We get MotoGP coverage from BT Sport which uses ultra HD cameras, they showed Lorenzos tyre chunking up at a speed where you could see blades of grass moving next to the wheel, if they got some decent commentators it'd be first class coverage, as opposed to the bumbling fools they currently employ .... the camera work makes up for it though

    Well done Dani

    Who???

We have Julian Ryder (total f**kwit) and Kieth Heuwen (ex racer - failed), they ruin it for me, every damn time, the only 1/2 decent commentator is "Popeye" Jamie Whitham, who had to bow out of competition when he had Hodgkinsons Lymphoma just as he was getting good, ex TT and MotoGP racer

Is it true that the two screamers are actually having orgasms when great passes are made?

I used to like Harris, but I've grown tired of his 'catch phrases.' Every pass in every race is a "classic (insert track) maneuver (or overtaking or any other synonym for passing)." He does the same with riders, "that's classic a Valentino Rossi (or any other seasoned racer) maneuver."

Another one I hear from him quite a bit is his everything is happening "all the time." "Rossi is closing in on Lorenzo all the time." That tends to come out at least 3 times a race.

He does have a lot of passion for it though, and the excitement in his voice during a great battle even for 10th keeps the whole thing watchable. I just wish he'd find some new things to say...

Like "Cracking good! and Brilliant!" lol Yeah the old cliches can get old but his excitement and passion are still infectious for me. Dillon has the freaking sweet job, gets to do commentary laps while riding the tracks. Getting paid to ride a BMW 1000rr on world class tracks all over the world....? Pretty cool.

Hes not running race laps but he is moving fairly fast and dragging a knee while talking. A little breathless at times but he pulls it off.

Certainly a great race with some amazing passes, Iannone rode the Duc like someone with a chilli up their butt and cannot remember another race this year where you could just about thow a blanket on the first 4 places to the end.
