A British magazine, BIKE, has their "BEST OF" issue out now at news stands and book stores. One of the categories is BEST USED BIKE and we nabbed that one. They say the big VFR is an amazing bike that was priced too high and didn't sell well leading to lots of cheap examples left on the market. They don't mention anything about it being a time bomb, though. Maybe that's just in Germany. By the way, they picked the new, supercharged Kawasaki H2 as BEST.
The truth is ALL VFRs are pretty cheap used. If you're interested and concerned about the 1200, hell just buy a farkled out 6th gen like mine...for less than half what I paid! Yay for buyer's markets!
