Well Pedro has no chance of winning this year, and I don't think he ever will even be close. And Pedro has such a sparkling persona compared to Rossi:). lol

Personality...well OK. Roberts Sr., Doohan, and Mladin were often judged by the same worthless gauge and that wasn't my personal experience. I have always been an "anybody but Rossi" fan......I enjoyed his Ducati years.

Racing is not totally about crossing the finish line, its a giant corporation with hundreds of relationships with teammates, crew, owners, sponsors and the fans. Can't understand the negative about Rossi. Did he butt hurt you or something? Or just if something is popular you hate it.

It is human nature to villify somebody that doesnt share the same feelings, and heaven forbid, somebody might not be a fan of the Italian. How can you be a good catholic and disagree with the Pope?, well Im not a catholic.

WSBK France this Sunday. I wonder what Rea will do now that he has the championship. I'm betting he will be on the podium at least. Sykes will be flogging it to try and take 2nd overall.

It might have been a link to an article on MotoGP that you have to have a subscription to view. I copied the text for you. Seeing thats its his left hand and not his braking hand, they really don't even use the clutch except for the start, he may ride in Japan.

A fall while out training on his bicycle results in a broken left hand for Marc Marquez ahead of the Japanese GP.
While out training with brother Alex Marquez on their bicycles on Tuesday, Marc Marquez suffered a fall resulting in a broken fifth metacarpal on his left hand. The Repsol Honda rider immediately went for surgery with Dr. Xavier Mir in Barcelona. The operation was successful and Marquez will fly to the Japan for the Motul Grand Prix of Japan as scheduled. He will undergo further checks in the build up to the race,

Dr Mir: “We have operated on Marc Marquez to treat a torsion fracture of the fifth metacarpal of his left hand. The surgery consisted of a reduction and internal fixation of the bone, through screws for compression and a neutralising titanium plate with six holes. After the insertion, the soft tissue has been closed up and we have placed a protective bandage around the finger, supporting it with the adjacent finger. Marc will remain in hospital for 24 hours, and in 48 hours will begin functional rehabilitation.”

All of MM's troubles this year seem to be what Dani goes through yearly! As much as I respect and can appreciate Dani's capabilities, his luck seems to be the worst out of the top 4 riders.

It would be interesting to know, are all of the Rossi supporters for taking his 10th title, all over the 40 year old mark? My wife wants to see Rossi get the title this year, she says that she would love to see the "old guy" show the youngsters that he can still win. Personally I would love to see VR catch or pass up Giacomo Agostini's record, so that I can say that I lived in the era where I got to see the MotoGP GOAT (of our time) make the record books!

Just caught the WSBK races, The two Honda riders did a good job this weekend, VDM has shown he has what it takes skill wise, he just needs a better ride IMO.

After a few issues with broadcast and satellite TV, I just broke down and paid for the MotoGP and WSBK subscriptions. Yes, it cost a little but I have access to the content, live or taped, anywhere I have internet access. A few times while I was traveling I was able to watch the race on my iPad. Although, like with any WiFi access, speed can be a factor but so far all of the places I have stayed at had great WiFi and internet access speed.

I have the Moto GP subscription and should have gotten WSBK. Next year I'll do both.

Most likely he'll go to WSBK for Honda. With Honda losing Guintoli and Aprilia saying they may pull back on WSBK in order to put more effort on MotoGP, he'll be riding for Honda. The article made it sound like it was almost solidified too.

It would be awesome if Honda introduced Nicky to WSBK on a Honda V4 and surprise the fuck out of everybody.
