2. New Zealanders are the only nation on earth with NO accent. The rest of you sound weird to us.

When Donald Trump is elected supreme leader here, you dudes can be our next state after we absorb Canada.

The accents and regionalisms here are so in depth as to be not understandable. This is leveling out somewhat due to the effect of media. There are parts in our deep South islands where almost entire languages have evolved. In other Southern climes, the spoken grammar is Elizabethan in tense and mood.

I once had access to a two LP set of short interviews of the peoples of Great Britain. As I remember there were some 40-50 different speech patterns in what is a not a geographically large Island.
