Moto Skiveez padded under shorts. Has anyone tried these to see if they really help on long rides?

    Thanks

Are these any different than the padded shorts the bicycle dudes wear?

They are in the sense that they have padding in different areas depending on what type of bike you ride. They have 3 types, sport bike, cruiser and ADV. They sell for $60. Interesting concept but a pit pricey for a pair of chonies!

I'm a bicycle rider also, and I've been buying closeout shorts from bikenashbar.com for years for under $30. I always wear them on longer rides under my leathers. The silicone pads are awesome!

I bought some nice bicycle shorts and tried wearing them under my draggin jeans. They actually chafed awkwardly and were very uncomfortable, as well as creating a low-friction layer that made me slide around weirdly on the inside of my jeans. Do not recommend.

As for these shorts, I'm intrigued, but would need some first hand recommendations to try it out.

Mine came in today. Raining today so i dont get to try them. Seems to be more padding and padding in different areas then bicycle shorts. I have been using bibycle shorts but thought I would get something different. These were a B Day present so hope they work. I bought the ADV style. Hope to report back soon.

Rode ny Honda Grom today wearing the Moto Skeevies. The grom seat is like a brick. Seem like the shorts helped. 30 min ride and not too much butt pain. Hope to ride VFR tomorrow. Will post again after a couple more rides.

I rode 500 slab miles this past Tuesday thru VA & NC wearing my standard bike shorts (Bike Nashbar brand w/silicone pads) under my leathers. Arrived after 9 hours with zero butt soreness (stock seat).
