i haven't had a tip-over or a slide-out in years, but i still put frame sliders on. the cost/pain of replacing plastics makes them worth the trouble, especially if you do track days.

that said, if you don't have the occasional washout in a tight backroads corner, at least as an intermediate rider, you might not be pushin' it (or, more likely, didn't see the rock/leaves/debris). or you have great rubber.

me, i rarely "push it" on the back roads these days unless i'm on the big dual sport, although the will is there, but old age and common sense (plus some memories of money out the door and pain) hold me back... :-(

i'd probably cry if the new viffer went over. too perfect looking...

the tiger? plenty of metal and it's ugly as sin, and a few scars make for a good rugged "i'll try anything once" look. ;-)

On sliders, form (looks) follows function. Sliders are a smart mod.

Only an idiot over-fills the oil. And a pussy installs frame sliders.

I follow the manual, take drain plug out, change the filter put less than 3.3 qts-how is this my fault too much oil is still in the bike. I am not use to oil coolers that seem to hold a lot of oil. I have a uneven floor.
Only a idiot doesn't use sliders, a bike can fall over for any number of reasons. who wants to buy new plastic.

not sure if that works on the last bit of topping off,. I only over filled by maybe .2qts. I have a very uneven floor that means I will always be off a little and have to ride it to a really level parking lot then check -too much just take a bit out.

Make sure you don't use that gay bathroom either. NC has them plainly marked.

I'm not concerned with the sexual identity of the bathroom as long as it knows that I go in it not the other way around. And since this thread has gone all pointless I just want to add that ive road 15 miles for each of sows posts.
