    Hi, all

I would like to know if anyone's added or is it possible to add a gear indicator liquid crystal display onto my Interceptor? As i understand it, i need to find or connect wires to the clutch assembly or such to be able to read what gear im in. I'd must admit i do not like the type that you add the sensor to the actual gear shifter where the foot peg is.

Then my throttle at default position has some play in it, this i assume is down to the cable that needs adjusting?

    Thx in advance

    Thx Knight...

As for my throttle having a bit of play, adjusting the cable will fix this?

OK so i had a look at the GiPro one but where does it plug into your engine? That is what i'd like to know. I can make one cheaper by buying the parts myself but not sure as to get the gear readings.

I cannot answer on the throttle. Check the owner's manual for this. Otherwise someone should respond on inspecting, tightness spec, adjustment, and cleaning.

Installation: Read through the first url I gave you on vfrdiscussion.com. He explains how to install I think that same hardware. If you get stuck at any steps I am sure people here will help you with the issue.

The search of this site (upper right) as well as google which usually returns vfrworld and vfrdiscussion is your best friend.

Yes i did read it quickly and just cannot see how it would work off the speedo cable, but as we've seen it works.

The post indicates that it gets the speed from the speed sensor and it gets the revs from the tachometer. It would then do a calculation to determine which gear could produce that combination of speed and RPM.
