    Brian,
you forgot stick your tongue out and to the left while turning your right foot 45 degrees from the seat and the left perpendicular to the seat and applying 45 ft/lbs up and rearward for approximately .52 secs (give or take)

My technique: pull up lightly on the rear-most edge of the seat with right hand (maintain this light force); rotate key with left hand; release key and grab left forward corner of seat; pull towards the rear with left hand. The seat should pop right off.

This is the only way I found to get my SuperHawk seat off also.

the lock on under the passenger part of the seat. when you twist the key, you open a jaw, if you dont lift the rear of the seat up, when you stop twisting, the jaw just grabs the seat again. The seat has to slide aft to come off.

so, turn the key with your left hand, pull up and back with your right. Then chant the opening command,
"5th gen is good, 6th gen is great, RWB seat - aftermarket replacement might be your fate"

Repeat the chant louder each time three times.

Say the chant backwards to get the seat back on.
