I'll check them out. Always been a Spencer fan. Is he trying to promote his "crossed" riding style? lol Its a wonder that racers from that time could get the lean angles they did with such bad body position.

I saw a Fast Freddy video with him riding a r/w/b '86 750 at Laguna............but the bike had the post-'86 square gauges !!??? :topsy_turvy: I never figured that one out.

 

Didn't Marc Marquez become the youngest GP champion taking that away from Freddie?

Actually got to see him ride through out the 80's.
It was a site to behold...plus of course all the other kick ass AMERICANS
Also on the second video, thats the old track...kind of cool he's on a viffer

 

The US (and maybe Canada?) VFR700/750's came with the three circular gauge cluster, the cool RWB colours, and no centrestand or pillion grab handles; the rest of the world got the rectangular unit instruments, a plain colour scheme (pearl white or dark blue) and a centerstand and grab handles. I've owned both models.

I suspect Honda have stuck the US bodywork on a non-US model in these pics as it also has a centrestand.
