I first wash the bike with Dawn to remove the old wax. I use Mequiar's wax (the one I have cleans and protects) and then a coat of Carnuba Turtle Wax.

Lately ive been using Zymol and it gives a great shine but seems to wash off easy, i use Hawiian shine brand car wash and its not supposed to harm waxes. At $10-$30 for a good wax i didnt want to have to try too many products!

Plexus works great for the plastics. For the tank I use whatever car polish I have at the time, usually Mothers brand though.

For cleanup I use Honda polish/cleaner - good stuff. And lately have been using Meguires NXT Gen Tech wax products - paste wax, speed detailer. Also there a new product out - I forget the exact name but something like Ultimate detailer spray.

I have never used any product stuff before that makes me step back and go
"OMG - WoW!!" especially the Ultimate detailer. The paint just jumps out at you. Incredible stuff. I've gone crazy with the Meguires stuff - cars and bikes, great stuff!

Used to use only Mother's 100% Canubra wax paste but have started using Meguiars NXT Tech Wax Paste, its easier to apply and dosn't whiten plastics.

Auto Glym - an English product - bit pricey but worth every cent! They have a polish that takes micro scratches off and there wax is second to none!

Garnuba?? That is a food/candy additive and breaks down in the sun! Maguiars is verily good product - the best is Auto-Glym product!

Meguiars Cleaner Wax is the way to go! It has a very light abrasive in it that will clean off the smaller debris and grime you might not even see without close examination. I've been using it on my cars and bikes since I stopped using Zaino for the convenience of it.

Here's another tip, buy some Mother's Back to Black and use it on all the black plastic pieces like the chain guard and dash area. I even use it on the the brake lines, etc. It'll keep the plastic looking fractory fresh.
