torque spec for rear sprocket nuts.

    I'm changing my sprockets and chain tomorrow. Need to know the torque specs for rear sprocket nuts. Is the front one 40 ft. Lbs? Thanks in advance. I have a JT x-ring chain and sprockets.

    Not sure if this helps - as I am slightly confused by your question in the 6th Gen section of the forum - your Forum Profile only lists a VFR 400?

    Anyway if you are working on a 6th Gen then these might help..

    I use an air tool on the counter sprocket and use a ratchet for the rear nuts, are'nt they sell locking? They are on my 91/93

    they are but the torque spec is 24 ft-lb
