So my fingers seem to be a bit long for how large my hands are. If I go with a larger glove the palm is usually too big, and the large gloves (now that I'm on the street bike and not the dual sport) fit my palm but my fingers feel like they are going to rip through the ends, especially the index and my thumb. I'm looking for something that has slightly longer fingers, or maybe a stretchy palm that I will fit bigger with the larger gloves. Also, a little palm padding wold be nice.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

Have you tried held gloves? For what I understand on your thread and know about gloves, I think they'd fit you just fine.

Good to see that Thurlow is back. I think they went OOB in the 1980s. Not sure.. Great stuff. Deerskin has a couple of qualities that are nifty. It does not get slick when wet and is resistant to abrasion whilst being light. Looks cool too..

A guy in my club had one of their jackets. At the time he was fixing up a beater Triumph. He told me he was the only dude in the club whose jacket was worth more than his bike.

Bates I think still makes fitted gloves.. Helds are Great and one could also try Lee Parks..

Lee Parks custom gloves. My buddy Chris had the tips of four fingers chopped off at work and Lee made him a custom pair that fit perfect. Actually went to his home to be measured

Thank goodness those crotchless chaps in leather or vinyl are one size fits all.

What a coincidence! That's the reason I started wearing Thurlow gloves. I smashed the tips of three fingers and got tired of gloves that didn't fit right. My current Thurlow gloves are probably 10 years old and still feel great.

I bought my first pair about 1982 so they were good then, but I was thinking they were gone for a while later in the 80's, but not sure.

I'm not sure either. I was going to buy one of their jackets and they were gone.. same timeframe. For the dudes who don't need custom fitting for one reason or another, there are several sources for deeskin gloves on the net.

My "regular" gloves are Helds. I'm on my second pair. the palms are constructed of Kangaroo leather from those guys who talk funny from OZ and Kansas. Helds are sometimes and rarely put on sale at the CW bike show that tours the country late in the year.

Helimot might do custom gloves too, though it might be expensive. Their gloves rock though.
