Sorry if this has already been hashed out but I have a gauge cluster with the speedo and fuel needles broken. I searched all the bike yards I could in Canada and it looks like all I can find seems to be from a '83 VF. They look identical from the pictures. Interchangeable?

Yes those needles are very fragile in their old age. I had a set with broken needles and I thought about taking a plastic soda straw and cutting it to size/shape and glue it on what was left. The straw piece is super light and should work fine.

I have bikes/parts from all 3 years, any cluster from 83 to 85 should be interchangable.
