Change Oil Weight / Type

    Randy, I hear you. Especially on Synthetic.

    Now that I'm back on it, I'll bump my schedule to 8k, if I go over a bit, no biggie!

    I usually go by oil color more than anything.

    use a napa platinum oil filter-it the best filter I have found

    If the manual says 12K and that is based on dino oil, 10K on synthetic should be a walk in the park. The biggest reason I use 10K is that it is changed "ON" the 10K give or take, so I don't have to remember any numbers. At my age, that is quite important. But, what works is great.

    why change oil at all, just let the engine destroy itself. then you never have to bother with another oil change !

    I've actually started logging oil changes and reminders in Fully.
