I'm sorry ahead of time if I have missed this topic. I see a lot of people doing retrofiting mods but that was all I seen. Not sure I feel comfortable modding mine. Thanks

As far as I have seen, all of the projector light installs for 6 Gens has been retrofitting them into OEM headlight assemblies. This requires putting the headlight assembly into an oven to "loosen" the glue so you can take the lens off and insert the projector units. Definitely not a "plug and play" solution but one, if done right, looks/works really cool.

Sounds like a lot of messy work where the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Anyone have pics of 5-6th Gen VFR's with projectors?

Here are two threads, one here
    http://vfrworld.com/forums/showthread.php/44627-HID-Projector-Retrofit?highlight=projector

    and one on VFRD
    http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php/topic/73524-hid-projector-headlights/

Personally if I was going to do HID, I would do the retrofit projector lamps, regardless of the effort. I think the results are more beneficial to those on the other side of the light beam! Plus the coolness factor!
