You have to use the 'Insert Image' function for pics. Just like posting a picture on the server, except you chose 'From URL' and paste the "http://" info you copied int the text field that pops up. Also uncheck the box that says 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally'

You can also just paste the http info into your post and put the image tags on either end of the text. Make sure there are no spaces between the brackets and the http info.

 

Remind me to get my valves adjusted before the apocalypse...

I think the "oot" started several years ago when one of our members (Toe Cutter, maybe?) used the word in what ever context. Ended up being one of those things that just stuck.
