I have a Micron Exhaust and would like to install in on my 99 VFR. It's a slip on. Will I need to get a Power Commander Module if I want to change out my exhaust? Any ill effects if I ran it without the PCM?

You don't need a PC with just a slip on. Should be fine.

Thanks Pliskin! I will strap it up and make a quick video of the sound.

Low mount Micron, best sounding slip on for the 5th gen imho, wish I still had one.

They do sound great, I had one for my '99 but the cotton pickin' thing was just too darn loud. Loved the sound but too many db.

    Sounds & looks good!

Now you need to change the brake and clutch fluid - they looked a little orange-ish?

I will take a look at that. I take it the process is similar to the vintage 70's Honda's?

I'm not familiar with the vintage 70's. On these models, clutch is easy. Brakes suck. There's a very specific order that has to be followed in teh bleeding process (which I can't recall, but is shown in a good manual), including one pain in the ass bleeder that sits amidships.
