JL keeps ripping off laps like a surgeon. Amazing but boring. ONLY 1 Point between him and Val now. The Zuk's were impressive for qualifying...... Not so much off the super soft tire in the race.

Interesting to see Miller, Laverty and Baz in the middle. Youngsters are learning.

Yeah Cal got hit, his bad luck is still happening. He was mad as a hornet after the get off but said later it was not intentional, just another race incident.

MM is having a rough year. I remember JL had a bad year after winning his second championship.

VR almost did catch him, JL was 4 seconds ahead at one point and Rossi got him down to 1.3 seconds near the end. If Rossi can improve his starting positions, he has a great chance of getting the title this year. JL has a problem when it gets hot. He had a similar issue before. I think it was the Malaysian GP, he made a mention of that then as well as yesterday. Once JL gets in front he usually walks away, I think that's what MM was trying to prevent, but was too busy concentrating on that and not where his lines and braking points were. The "impetuous of youth" I say.

They mentioned that on WSBK and MotoGP last week and weekend. Did you ever see my post where I ran into him at Adams Raceway here in Riverside? Long and I went to the track while his brother was there with is SuperMoto group and low and behold, Biaggi was ripping it up at the track. I had him sign my Shoei RF-1100 helmet, which reminds me I have to bring that with me to Laguna to get more signatures. I'm going to use it as a "decorative conversation piece" as it was dropped and I don't wear it anymore.

That is cool. So he was down to earth and approachable? He was one crazy cat on the race track, downright scary at times. Not so much in GP but WSBK for sure. Saw him run off and was 10 seconds behind the last place guy and ended up winning the race. Just mowed past riders. I wonder if he thanked his teammate for his last championship where he beat Sykes by half a point. His teammate dialed it way back and let him pass to get the point he needed for the championship.

Normally I leave "celebs" alone but figured he was waiting around for his turn on the track so I approached him and asked if he would sign my helmet and he obliged. A girl rider there had him sign her tail....of her R1!

HRC reverting back to the 2014 chassis with 2015 engine, swingarm, electronics in an attempt to salvage their championship. Too bad it rained heavily for Monday's test. Dani back on the box.....but 19 seconds back. Marquez looking for anything positive, especially with the machine.

Danny Kent with a great race to go from 6th with 2 laps to go to winning the race. Lots of fast kids starting to come good in this class. Quartararo was absent.......would have looked for a better showing after his CEV domination.

Zarco with a good come from behind ride to win. Rinns 2nd place result puts him back on track, after 2 less than memorable races. Rabat the big loser on the final lap.

I think Honda waited to long to revert back to the older set up. But who knows, JL and Rossi crash a few times and MM wins a few..........

I was really hoping for a 4 way run for the championship but it looks like its going to be JL's to loose. Still want 1 more for the Doc though.

+1 For Rossi. The likelihood that JL AND VR crashing out while MM takes the win is practically zero percent IMO. Maybe one of them DNF'ing is possible but so far those two seem to be staying up on two wheels way more than MM. Bummer that Dovi has slipped down a few and kudos to "Crazy Joe" for stepping up a notch, still quite a ways from second place.

Although Ducati played within the written rules.....Karma always evens things out. 5 guys fighting for the championship is a pipe dream at the MotoGP level, it never materializes. The factory rules have a large part to play in that. If you have engine issues, either reliability or power delivery.....you're basically stuck with that problem for the entire year. It becomes the definition of insanity.....trying to correct a problem with constant electronics and chassis adjustments that will never solve the root problem. Honda got it wrong, too late now.

Yeah, Honda would be better served to stick with the 2015 bike, and bring back the 2014 engine and electronics as that seems to be the issue. Can't happen under the engine rules, but would get them closer to winning again...
