    The only downside to traditional coolant, as I learned the hard way, is that if your cap goes bad, (mine did), the bike will heat up, overflow coolant onto your back tire and WHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are on the ground. (I speak from experience). Even if you run the same temp, or a few degrees cooler, Ice, WW etc won't turn your back tire into a useless slippery thing that used to stick to the road.

    My understanding is that track day groups don't allow glycol based coolants in your bike, at least the organizations that I've looked into recently, not sure if they even check though but something else to consider EI/WW as alternatives.
