I live in Central NC, so I don't get a lot of twistie fun (as evident from the size of the chicken strip)

I check it weekly (I know I should do it more often) and it's usually leaked down to 39psi. I fill it back to 42psi. 36psi front and 42psi rear is what is listed in the shop manual.

and yes. I have a very heavy throttle hand. in my own defense, it's so much fun!

that's too much air-I use 33 front and 35.5 back, maybe 33.5 front too or 36 rear -unless I were to load it up with hard bags. I wonder if the pr4 gt tire for heavy bikes might work on the vfr or be too stiff? Loaded up I would bet the gt would be better. That's not very good mileage for a touring tire- but you roasted it with being way to hard on it:snowman:

I am fat 225, and I ride with Givi E360's panniers and a V46 top case all the time. I carry rain gear, multi meter, spare chain and extra gloves always. Obviously, the extra chain is the heaviest extra, but I don't want to need it, and not have it.
