Took me four motorcycles to finally get to a VFR but I finally did. And I am grinning from ear to ear. Has the two brothers left side exhaust. Not sure about the wheel color yet. I like it in a moment... Love it the next... And so so minutes later.

Thanks. Think I'll keep the color for awhile. Just ordered an upgraded r/r to get ahead of that problem. The forks and rear shock will be my next project, the are original and are a bit floaty currently. But that will be a bit down the road.Need to research the best budget replacement for the rear. I don't need some wazoo rear shock. I just cruise, no hard core sport riding.

I second the colour of the wheels. I am considering powder coating mine to that colour. I used to have a Silver 1996, and I swapped out the original shock for a CBR929 one. Nice find with the left side exit exhaust too. congrats

An 8 spoker is on my list.... I'll be on the lookout.
    Couple questions...
One. I need a parts number diagram or list for specific bolts... It's missing the left fairing bolt on the top next to the tank and handle bars. I know the list is around... Just don't want to order the wrong one out of ignorance
Two. A slip on. Should any one work? The left side exhaust is just a pipe from the header to the can. The can is it's own separate piece. I'm assuming the pipe was the special piece to make it left sided. I might like another sound than the two brothers countermeasure 2.

Most online parts resellers have a parts fiche, I use Partzilla.com. Just look up your year/model and the general area the part would located I.e. Rear caliper and you should see an exploded view of the part(s) used in that part/area of the bike.

As far as exhaust cans, as long as the header or mid-pipe are meant to mate with the can I.e. Pipe O.D. ~ Can I.D. You should be able to use it, where and how to mount to the bike might have to be McGuyver'd.

Oh yeah, Welcome to The World!

    Cheers

Squishy ride....929 rear I know... But front forks, will a fork oil change do it or do I need to go further?
