I piped my VFR today. 2 Bros Black Series. Mods this year: Genmar Risers, Spencer saddle, plasti-dipped screen, pillion peg removal, mullet trim, PR4's . We're getting along better now.

Wanted to show you my tail bag. I love how convenient it is to carry stuff on this bike.

And here's my other bike. Both these motorcycles were manufactured in 2002. Both are good in their own way. Depends on my mood which one I ride.

Installed VFRness and Powerlet socket. Removing wire from starter solenoid connector was a pain, thought I was going to break it. They give you another starter connector in the kit just in case. Powerlet socket in steering stem hole just to cool, how convenient.

Rented a great motorcycle trailer from U-Haul (only $16/day), pulled the '83 VF750 out of storage and took her to the car wash. Don't normally like to use power wash, but we are talking at least 15 years of dust & dirt. Sprayed simple green on oily parts and rinsed with plain water. Then took her home to work on her. Have a lot on good used parts on the way, to fix all the nitty little problems.

Not really a barn find, it was my own garage in upstate NY! When My wife and I split (amicably), she packed a container to be shipped to CA. I bought a shipping container to hold all the stuff, including my original '83. Got around to getting it cleaned up yesterday. More pictures later.

Took the black 1.1 scooter for a 170km breakfast ride in perfect weather. Since that is an inline four I shouldn't mention it here but it was a magic morning for a ride.

When I got home the house was like the Mary Celeste. I immediately headed to the shed to continue my service on the red scooter.
Took off the radiator, changed front plugs for iridium densos.
Checked valve clearances- only one inlet out of spec at 0.11mm. Damn.
Dropped all coolant and power flushed engine with hose. I never realised the Honda coolant was a brown colour.
    Flushed with distilled water.
Hosed out inside of radiator and sprayed out as many dead bugs and stuff as I could from fins.
Straightened all fins on the oil cooler. Radiator fin straightening coming up when eyes and fingers recover.

Now I just have to learn how to remove cams and I can adjust the one inlet valve.
