The profile of the left needle looks correct. Dynojet made a kit with new needles that had the adjustable C clips, but the consensus was the needle profile was too different. Stock needles are best.

The 700 and 750 are the same bike. The only difference is the 700 has a 2mm shorter crank to loose 50cc of displacement. Then a taller piston to bring compression ratio back up. Oh, and the 700 was about $800 cheaper than the 750 due to bypassing the 40% import tariff.

Note that I changed post 18 to the correct drill bit sizes. The bit to hole size was a bit confusing.

I found another chart that list precision metric drill bits, but I've never seen a place locally that sold those.

I just realized I should at least post up my new exhaust. I rotated the muffler 1/3 a turn to hide the scratched up section and you don't even notice it anymore. I also had the pipe black ceramic coated.

    Say what?

    An update on my tuning.

I didnt realize it, but my carbs are running the Dynojet stage 1 needles. The one on the right.

I also found that my main jets were not stamped at all and showed no signs of the stamps being removed, very strange. I did measure them, though. They measure 1.18mm which is bigger than the stock Kiehin 118's should measure. Pilot jets measured .40mm.

I added a K&N filter, plus "opened" up my air box lid which someone had drilled out and then covered in tape.

My needles were on the 4 from bottom notch and it gave a weak spot at around 5500 rpm. I raised the needles one notch, to the 3rd from bottom, and it cured the weak spot. It feels as if the air filter and air box mods also added torque in the mid range. My fuel economy has improved a bit as well.
