Well first of all, that is an 06 unless someone painted their 07. If it is a painted 07 (and I think it is), you have a bunch of other questions that need to be answered like why is it painted? Who dropped it and what was replaced etc etc. If it turns out to be a repaired low mileage 07, it's probably worth 5 but even then I would be questioning the odometer as it may have been replaced.

Tough call but it doesn't have any farkles so for me it's going to need 2k in extras to be where I would want it. I prefer to find bikes that are loaded with extras because you get them pretty much for free.

Jethro pretty much said it all. He is way too high on the price so I say walk away or let it sit for a bit and let reality set in before you make an offer.

I'd offer a laugh over the phone. Maybe a free guffaw thrown in too. For that kind of money, it should ever friggen farkle known to the VFR community. Low miles like that always concern me.

    Showing my ignorance here:

    What makes it an '06?

How do you know it's been painted?

What kind of farkles add up to 2k?

In 2007 the only paint schemes were the Candy Glory Red and the anniversary RWB. 2006 had the white color scheme with red lettering and Honda Logo. Since this has no logo or lettering, I am assuming it is a paint job. And since the frame is silver and not black, if it is a 2007 then it must be the Candy Glory Red.

As for farkles, for that price it should have all the luggage (either Givi or OEM) throttle lock, aftermarket exhaust, aftermarket seat, and maybe a hugger.

When I listed my 2007 with 16K miles, it had:

MRA Vario wind screen with adjustable lip
    Electronic cruise control
    Garmin GPS
    Radar Detector
    OEM luggage
    MRA Vario adjustable footpegs
    OEM & Staintune exhaust
    Hugger
8 spoke & OEM rear wheel
    New PR3 tires
    Tank bag
Wired communication system that tied the GPS, cellphone, and radar detector together.

All of that and I listed it for $6500. The guy who bought it didn't want all of it and we lowered the price a bit. In comparison, the bike from the OP just doesn't measure up.

'07 only came in RW&B and Candy Glory Red, I think. Asphalt black?

    Farkles add up easy:
    Seat - $300+
    Power Commander - $300+
    Dyno Tune - ? $200?
    Exhaust - $400+
Upgraded Suspension - $800+ (front and back)
    Hard bags could run $750+

    Heated grips? Cruise Control?

    The list goes on.

Edit: Damn you married man! Walked away from my desk for a few and forgot to hist post. Now you beat me to it.

That's a shitload of farkles. We may be approaching the point that HD has, where the farkles weigh more than the bike.

Oh yeah, I forgot that I had both heated grips and Jamie Daugherty suspension front and back!

Ha! Finally beat someone to a post!

I like low mileage sport bikes with traceable histories. Also agree it's nice to get some mods if possible. I realize this is just a personal opinion but I have to ask, who the fuck paints a bike ALL WHITE and thinks that's an improvement on just about any VFR out there? The only reason to use white paint is it's cheaper than anything else. White is for Camry's and picket fences.
