Anyone else talking RACING?! <--- of the motorcycle type

I have not finished the other 2 races yet, work is very busy.

For some of the most fairing bashing racing Moto 3 is usually the pinball of GP. lol

 

They make those?

 

The opening race was no exception.......Fahmi Kharrudin on the receiving end of an especially bad use of the brakes by a fellow rider was noteworthy. Also, Luis Salom's surprise was pretty ugly in Moto2.

 

They make friggin' sticks that you can put your phone on and take pictures of yourself.........

 

Those selfie sticks are not all that creative. Mirrors are even better as illustrated by this really cool dude:

I did remember after you mentioned it. It was probably another reason some people thought he might have the win factor to get a championship. Not looking good for him now with the arm pump thing again.

Didn't he do it in Spain too when he started from the back because he took out a rider in practice.. Rookie season I think. Watch this aerial shot of him, crazy start and passing.

I like the heart rate monitor they showed. He got over 200 BPM for a second or two. Do they even have this anymore? If so, I haven't noticed it. They have a knee down indicator to go along with the lean angle gauge but not as interesting as you can usually see that anyway.

 

I have not seen the heart rate monitor in a while. Crazy how jacked they are.

 

I'd like to see the heart rates of the announcers who sound like they are having an orgasm everytime somebody passes somebody else.

 

You must be talking about the British announcers like Nick Harris or Green on wsbk.They are excitable boys. But I will take them over others. Every time I hear a US announcer I want to turn off the volume.

 

Announcers come and go.

Dani to have surgery on his forearm......again...Aoyama to fill in for the next 2 races.

Best of luck to him......hopefully, something good comes from this. One of the best of the modern era.

Supposedly successful compartment syndrome micro surgery for Dani today in Spain. Hope it works out for him, guy didn't deserve to go out like that.

So, i've been living under a mountain of text books and work studying for an exam. What's wrong with pedro?

 

After Qatar he explained that he's suffered with severe arm pump in his right arm since last year. He's already had a couple surgeries, and nothing did it for him. During the offseason, he tried other remedies, but in the first race this season, it was back and maybe even worse than before. Looked like his career might be over even.

He's had a new surgery, now rehab, and they're hopeful this helps...

 

Looks like it might be a wet race this Sunday. Moto3 practice was in the rain and 5 day forecast shows thunder showers. Always interesting when it's raining.
