I caught this little fella peeking out of his hole this afternoon. It seems that he expected spring to be here by now but he's a bit early still.

i know eastern Canada got hit hard this winter, especially in the last little while but YIKES. I don't think I have EVER seen that much snow on the ground here in Kelowna. We got 48 inches in one dump this year in early January but it was all gone within a couple weeks. That is just nuts. Now I fell guilty for goin for a ride today. :(

May your riding season start sooner than later.

Well, out here in Montreal, the snow is almost gone. I saw 2 bikes, a Bandit 1200 and a Kawaz Ninja 1000 (I think) today & it wasn't above zero. Me think to let some rain to wash all the salt & dirt left over from the winter & 2 digits above 0°c before getting mine out...

It's been a long long winter, the likes of which I've never seen before in my 49 years. But the temps are creeping above freezing during the day now so we are seeing some reduction in the height of the snow banks. We were supposed to get hit again on Saturday but it seems to have missed us for the first time ever. Flurries in teh forecast fro tomorrow however. :sour:

The ground was frozen solid yesterday morning so I took advantage to move the bike from the shed to the garage where I can take care of a few things and fire her up for the first time in 2015. Let's hope we have a great season! I've seen a few crazy guys out riding here already but I learned my lesson many decades ago and I will wait till the roads are relatively clean and the rubber is soft and sticky.
