Ya just have to get used to the horrible sounds the fairing makes when it rattles and creaks.

Normally those vid lenses are wide angle if this one is a wide angle meaning objects are closer than they appear then I'm impressed how close the VFR rider is following at times. Personally I wouldn't be brave ( or crazy ? ) enough get that close for that long camera recording or not.

I ride mine about a mile on rough ROUGH dirt roads every day. Its a blast to rip down and open it up and let the rear swing around. Stock suspension is really smooth even on really bad washboarded roads. Just not so fun cleaning all the crud off the million tiny places it gets into...

It's not clean. The wheels and chain look like something off a dirt bike. For most of the year it is dry fine powdery dust like baby powder. This month it is a sea of mud with huge water filled ruts and potholes. The good ol boys come from town with their big 4-wheel-drive trucks to "Woo Hoo!" and tear up the road.

I bought my 2000 VFR from the dealer. It was beautiful and truly spotless. I took pictures of it looking beautiful and spotless. Then I rode it home. I remember hitting a washboard section on my road that jarred the bike pretty good. I got to the house and looked and a three inch long crack had opened up on the right side of the rear cowl just over the mounting screw. I was just sick. I have lived with that ever since. I can't keep anything nice.

if only cowling cracks were bikes' problems... you have a true machine! Keep riding her like it's meant to be. She's only given me satisfaction anyway
