Anybody ever tried cutting the middle of the inner cowl to change the oil filter ?

    Before you resort to a sawzall or a quarter oz of C4. Get on a site that sells fasteners and look up the difference between well nuts and push rivets.


    Loved your fish analogy but you may be best off with canned tuna.

    I have a couple of sockets just for that. One is for the BMW. I had to machine that one down some to fit the 4 valve heads.. In the interim some SOB moved the radiator on the mach 1 91 and put it in the way.

    I have seen some on Harleys that were attached backward..

    A perfect example of why form over function is not really great, used as an axiom.
