Well, first time I've ever tipped over while stopped. My buddy came down and we went for a 3 hour backroad ride with a stop at Bubba's Roadhouse in Sultan for lunch. It's kinda cool, all the parking in front is motorcycle spaces.

Anyway on the way back I wanted to stop to give him directions to a backroad that would take him home. I pulled up a driveway with a slight incline, turned around back down hill and stopped. Evidently I was still a little bit across the hill because in slow motion, the bike started to list to the left and continued down. I couldn't hold it.

Got away with a scrape on the clutch lever and a bent turn signal mount. The signal was spared.

There's a first time for everything I guess.

Haven't dropped mine, but I did drop a friend's BMW R1150R. So far that has been my first and only drop in the 5 1/2 years that I have been riding.

He insisted that I give it a ride to see how great of a bike it is; coming out of the parking lot I went to turn right and had to stop quickly because of an oncoming car and there was a dip in the asphalt that was low enough for me that I ended up letting the top-heavy part get the best of me and down we went. Scuffed up the boxers head cover, windscreen, and the mirror. Also my ego... ha.

Executive decision. You get the honours. I will add this. No where in the original post does it say the drop has to be your bike.

Looks like you have the pinlock shield but if it didn't come with the pinlock lens, get one, you wont regret it.
