As of right now, I do not use any throttle lock system. I did take a 160 mile ride the other day that has me seriously reconsidering that though. I have looked into Throttlemeister throttle locks (http://throttlemeister.com/) that just replace your bar end weight though and they seem to be a good option compared to the ones the rest on the grip itself. I have not given that style any thought as I would lose some of the use of the heating element on that side and have cold fingers.

    Hope that helps. Cheers.

I was looking at the GoCruise and Omni-Cruise ... they are cost effective and I've heard good things.

That said, I've also been looking a the Kaoke, Throttlemeister, and Kuryakyn bar end types. They are nice and discreet, but man, they can get up there in price.

They can get pricey, but they are for a reason: they work and they are safe when used properly. I would be more willing to invest in something that I know will work properly when it comes to locking a throttle.

No doubt ... but then again, the GoCruise and Omni-Cruise both get excellent reviews and appear to be very safe.

I'll need to do more research.

I will say that in the looks department the Throttlemeister has the competition beat, but if it works and fits your needs and budget, then the choice is obvious.

Not mine, but a pic of the Throttlemeister on a VFR

    Hi
I just ordered Oxford grips from Ebay.de for about 60 €, think it was a good price. So take a look there.
