Howdy all, Antony from Brisbane in QLD.

Took about 14 months to get on here after getting my 'new' VFR'er (think it sat in a store-room in Japan for a couple of years).

Back on bikes after a 14 year break brought on by a GSX-R 750.

Very nice, love the gold wheels. Did you have them done? The reason I'm asking is I'm trying to decide what color to paint my newly acquirered 8 spoke and front wheel
Like the flash off the reflector.

The flash was completely accidental, but artistic...As for the gold rims, was like that when purchased.

If I can find some reasonably priced mag/alloy/billet/CNC rims mine might be for sale.....Weight reduction on the VFR, it gets to the stage where it becomes more and more like hunting Bigfoot....

Hello and welcome to the MadHouse :welcome:

Great pictures and congratulations on choosing the fastest VFR colour :potstir:

We have a large group of VFRWorld riders down in Australia so you may want to update your forum profile (Forum Actions + Edit profile) to include the specs of your bike and an approximate location (City/State). That way you won't need to repeat the information which will appear automatically beside all your posts, and if you need help with an problem you may find someone living nearby is willing to swing by and offer advice - especially if you have a well stocked beer fridge.:drink:

Duc. This is the colour I was thinking of when you posed the question. I have also seen wheels media blasted down to the bare aluminum, then anodized a gold colour which looked just great. But I imagine that costs a little more than powder coating. Because the wheels have a rough surface, with the anodizing, they really sparkle.

Oh. Carver. Welcome to the site. Australia is on my bucket list. And as far as bike colour goes, that red is the only red acceptable. Love that shade.
