Ain't that the truth. Don't think it'll be long before my son is as tall as me. LOL.

Started a bit of remodeling on the front of my '86 500. Hope to reorganize and reduce the amount of wiring. Also just did general maintenance of checking fluids and brake pads.

Mine's taller then me. One minute we were riding dirt bikes together and then next it's over and he's gone. I glad he is on his own and I am so unbelievably proud of the man he has become but MAN I miss those days! Maybe he will slip up and I'll be Boompaw to another little rider!

On the motorcycle front: I have put off doing anything to my VFR and instead have been working on a VTR.

Changed the oil with full synthetic. Learned how to lose the "low oil" light. Tried to find where I could buy some fairing quick release nuts and was only able to locate them in the UK. Started it up and listened to it purr and wished there wasn't six inches of snow on the ground outside of my garage. Went back to work on my XR500.

The weather was the same here but I had to stay in and couldn't play. I had to get some billable hours since I spent yesterday (also a pretty day) out in the shop screwing off with motorcycles. Gotta pay to play!

Just bought a 2005 vfr800 silver 12000 plus miles for 3000$. Now I am installing all my new stuff. Sport touring windsheild mra with the little winglet on top, mirror extentions, and gen mar risesrs, weak instructions, has anyone installed them? Changed engine/transmission oil and filter. New anti-freeze, brake fluid, ordered new chain and sprockets. I want one of those gear indicator things. Have plenty of time retired heated garage snowing wishing it was spring. thanks for reading back to work.
