yep, bet those carb seals haven't aged a day in the last 20 years. brand new

 

Well I just saw on ebay out here a 1984 Suzuki RG500, as new, with 1400 ks on the clock, bidding over $40,000 and reserve not met. Wonder how the seals are on it?, but I guess if you can spend that sort of money you could afford to get the seals replaced

 

I mean, definitely looks like a nice bike from first impressions. I just disagree with using "brand new". It's a great condition low mileage VFR, but at two decades is enough time to rot O-rings, produce pitting of brake and clutch pistons etc.. who knows if the fork oil has ever been touched. probably no reason with those few miles.

According to popular beliefs all these bikes are not in my garage. The Gamma is in there too.. Why the big bucks? Not many were made and in their day they were hairy. Rode one a friend had. Bill White RIP. We are talking up on the pipe bigtime. Two stokes at that level make are not at all like VTech..
