Anyone know where (other than ebay) i could get an aftermarket high performance exhaust for an 85 vf700f? I have a super nice nostalgia bike, and i am keeping all the stock parts, but want to upgrade the exhaust. I am ordering extra parts to be able to make it naked at will, or change back to stock for trade in value etc.

Also if anyone has any other "drop in" type upgrades i am interested in hearing them. It is a bit too small for me as i am 6'7'' 290, but it is a great beginer bike and i got a good price on it. I do want to be able to maintain the stock appearance for when i do upgrade to something larger.

I have two Supertrapp cans (brand spankin' new) Just got them, had the brackets professionally welded on even, and lo and behold... I have serious car repairs!! Okay, the wife told me not to doi. Said to save for a rainy day...and I didn't. Anyways, I bought for 350 will sell for 250. Universal cans, 1.5 inch inlet. Should be able to get a muffler shop to make the mid-pipe for ya! Let me know. Alex

Where are you located? I have an entire '84 for sale in the marketplace with a set of Cobra F1R's on it. Pick up the whole bike and you'll have all the spare parts you need.

I am on a 85 vf700f and would like to see your bike also. You also asked about other mods, if you dont know it already there are a few inherant probs with our bikes, read about the am oiling prob if you havent already, it could save your engine.
And please post if you find a suitable exhaust, cause I would like to the the same.
