Think it's a F2, looks like the gas tank is in good shape and other parts are at least good cores to rebuild/restore/freshened up.

Saw the Kerker exhaust on it, might just pick it up for that and polish that baby up. Heard they sound raspy and I think that may be what I'd like for mine.

I have the same Kerker cans on my '83, I had them polished and they look great. This set has same problem as mine, went down hard on left side. I just turned cans around 180 degrees and damaged part against wheel, not too visible. Unless they changed the firing order in 86, they have a very unusual sound, raspy but strange cadence.

Oh damn I didn't even notice that till you mentioned something.

Eh I may still pick it up later if no one else has, nothing wrong with having some spare part cores.

I'm confused. Is he selling that thing for $200 or paying someone $200 to haul that piece of $hit away?? LOL

Looks like the coveted exhaust is pretty rashed up to me.

That bike's too far gone, desert heat kills engines, and your toney neighbors would never allow THAT POS into their artificial paradise.

No no I meant for part cores. That bikes way too gone, but I could work with some of what's there. Engines can be rebuilt, some of that can be painted and/or polished. Or least sell some of that.

Plus I never gave a fuck what the snobs around here thought or what I drive and ride. It's fun to piss em off! Some even think my completely stock little CBR250R is very noisy....

The frame looks mostly OK, wheels can probably be saved... the rest is probably scrap

You don't think even the engine may be a good core? I was looking at it from a complete rebuild standpoint, as in cleaning it out, boreing it out a tad and all that. Just like the fresh 3sgte in my MR2 is completely new (well rebuilt)

Oh it might be fine, I was just listing the stuff that from the picture alone, "looked" to be worthwhile... If you've got the time (and money) to strip and rebuild that engine, maybe it's worth it.

*edit* really, for $200 you can't go wrong... if the whole bike is scrap put the wheels on ebay ;)

Which was actually the plan till a unintended purchase yesterday. Blew little over 500 for a OEM parking cover for the little 250 and got myself a brand new Shoei RF1200. So excited to actually get mine in in a few days.

If it's there in a a couple weeks I will though.
