Oh man, the more I look and sit on the 014vfr (Interceptor) the more I lean to it. the more it's growing on me as well as the price, it's just one of those machines that has a luring if you 're in the know. The dealer still has the one I rode, not surprising for the price a newbie won't go this route. BUT I might if it's still around next spring. just something about it, even putting around in the parking lot. still missing the motor noise. (Gear driven cams) yet there's the it's got it's shit together showing through, But damn that price........UGGG!

Go for it! I traded my loved 36k mi 6th gen for one and haven't looked back. Already have 3000 miles on it in only 2 months, with nothing but weekend canyon carving. I have yet to see anyone on the 8th gen forum regret their purchase.

I hear ya man. That's a tough price to shell out, especially for the same amount of money you could buy a fleet of 5th gens that would last you until they run out of fossil fuel.

My dealer has a white one on their floor. I went last week to thoroughly go through it. I really like it except for the low exhaust. I think I would have been more inclined to buy one if it was a totally new bike, but to me, it still seems like a 6th Gen at its core. That is not a bad thing as I've got many miles on a 6th Gen and love it. Either way, it is at the top of my list for a next bike.
