I have removed fairings, how do you suggest checking charging connections? Any reference voltages or places I should stick multimeter ? If you are aware of a thread/link, please do share. Thank you.

Just an FYI, if you need those retainers and don't want to wait for the mail man you can get a bag of 10 from Napa for about $6, part number is 665-3135, they are a little snug so to make my life easier I ran a small rat tail file through each hole. 60 cents a piece is sure more in line than $5 each:eagerness:

That's awesome John, appreciate it. I can see that part online for $5. Are there any other cheaper options available? ;) lol

P.S: Need to file the hole and then they'll be a fit?

    Thanks Roy, appreciate it man.

Today, I replaced clutch fluid, engine oil, cleaned chain and drained coolant. Biggest task left is bleeding/replacing brake fluid. Seems like a tedious and tiresome process, will see how it goes? Any tips, advice or pointers?

Area for oil filter is pretty tight and lots of mess of oil, but oh well, it's my first time and hopefully next time it'll be better, I guess? :)

Any other things you guys suggest since both fairings are completely removed and have access to most of the things. Thanks for all the help guys.

P.S, how can I personalize suspension settings ?

When changing the oil in the future take a sheet of aluminum foil and fold it in half to make it a little more rigid and then slide the whole thing over the header pipes. Once in place you can mold a small depression/pocket in the foil for the oil to collect in once the oil filter is removed. This prevents oil from getting all over the headers and once the new filter is in place just carefully slide the whole piece of aluminum out and dispose of it with no oily mess. As far as brake bleeding goes it is definitely much easier with a vacuum type bleeder or you can invest in some speed bleeders to make the process much easier.

Also, does this air filter look dirty or it's usable?
