Thanks everyone. Once I'll download the service manual, I guess will take it from there. BTW, are there any stickies to replace all fluids/sparks plugs and brakes?

I am still trying to learn to navigate the forum :)

Here is the direct link to the 6th gen service manual:
    http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/...onda-vfr-service-manual-optimized-bookmarked/

I am not very good at navigating this forum, but on the other VFR forum there are some walkthru's for some routine maintenance jobs. Me personally, I would not bleed the brakes. I went to a local shop for that. There are 6 fricken bleed points on the damn thing! It's not particularly difficult, just time consuming and I am not that patient. I tend to rush and thats when mistakes are made. And I don't want to do that with my brakes.

The VFR's in general are not that bad to work on. Honda did a fairly good job engineering it. Except for the R/R of course. On the 6th gen it is up on the front right side near the radiator. You know, where all the heat is.

For what you are getting, that is a very good price. Very, very good. 30K miles really is nothing to worry about on a VFR. There are many members who have over 100K miles and never have done the valve inspection.

Has it had the recall rework performed? Why do you want to replace the brakelines? Just as precaution, or do they look really bad?

According to owner, yes harness has been replaced. Brake lines look fine to me, just a precautionary measure and nothing else.

No, it hasn't been garaged. He park it outside with a cover. That's definitely a turn off for me :(

The reason being exposure with the stock rubber brake lines...one thing I haven't done to my 02 since it was kept in a heated garage with all of the po other toys....one being a 69 Stingray.....I was needing a troll bucket.....
Kit requires 9 lines if my memory serves me right. .pricey. ..

I completely agree with you. I am counting on you for the help :semi-twins:

Am going to get it and sure as hell will enjoy it too :)

BTW, does it need and require any frame sliders?

Require? No. Is it a good idea? Probably. However there are not any "no-cut" frame sliders worth having. If you want frame sliders, you are going to have to cut the fairings.

Sorry, wasn't clear. Yes I meant, no cut ones. Prolly, that's why I don't see many VFRs with frame sliders :)
