    Hi All,

    Newbie VFR person here.

I'm looking to replace my current motorcycle - 2003 BMW K1200GT with something else. It's a great bike, but due to some issues in my area (no dealer, etc.) I'm looking at some other brands.

I've got a few quotes for a 07 RWB VFR (with ABS) and I'm wondering what others have paid for theirs. I've done a few searches, but not found anything (it's probably my own incompetence at searching these forums).

Anyway, I've got one quote for $10699 (it wasn't mentioned but i think this is without tax, title, etc.).

The other quote I have is $11599 (with tax, title, etc.) plus a $215 destination charge.

I was jsut curious if others thought this was a good deal or what others have been paying for their VFR's.

    Thanks!
    alowishus

Bought my 06 VFR new 2 months ago for $8900. ($10,200 out the door). I think they were selling the 07 RWB for $9700 before taxes, etc.

Was that with our without ABS? I've seen prices comparable to that without ABS.

I think you got a good deal on 07 RWB ABS. I got a quote $12600 for the same bike in Los Angeles area.

I bought my White 06 from Florence Honda in SC. I paid 8998 out the door. No freight or set up charge. I did have to pay $300 tax to them and the ballance to NYS when I registered her. When I asked the owner about a freight and set up charge he thought I was nuts. Around here it ranges from 500 - 800 bucks extra. Plus I got a long weekend in Myrtle Beach....

bought my bike for 10,000 out the door in SSF, CA in Nov 06. Seemed like a good deal, because they wouldn't let me go without trying to sell me the extended warranty etc.

Last November I picked up my brand new '04 from the dealer with 0 miles for $6200. I think the OTD was about $6800. I would have rather had the RWB, but for the price I couldn't pass it up. They had two, still in the crate.

    May have a winner?

    Hey there,

Got a price quote for $13k out the door for the 07 RWB. It comes with the center stand, heated hand grips, and the Honda hard cases.

With the extra gear, appears to be a decent deal to me - did anyone go for the center stand and/or hard cases?

I've seen pricing from other dealers such as Southern (in TN):
    http://www.southernhonda.com/new_ve...06R0&ModelYear=2007&Manufacturer=1&DispType=0

    $9,783 (with ABS, not RWB)

    And in Russelville, AK

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007...9QQihZ020QQcategoryZ50003QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

$9,685 (non ABS) <-- This is $40 over the dealer's invoice I was shown.

You should try to negotiate a discount of at least 10% on any accessories you order at time of purchase too. Southern actually lists prices on their website. I used this price to deal, the airfare was only $200 bucks to go to TN and have a nice ride back to MD... but I didn't need to.

Memorial Day weekend my local dealer said there were 2 RWB ABS bikes if I wanted to order one... I

I'm the manager for his semi-trailer repair shop. He saw one in a magazine and thought "That's the coolest bike in the world". I was SHOCKED when he gave it to me. He was right, it IS the coolest bike in the world.
