We find the Stoned Ranger high on a hill again,,,as usual. He and Pronto see Gettem Youngs wagon train being surrounded by Indians. The Stoned Ranger turns to Pronto and says "What are we going to do about all those Indians?" Pronto reply's "What do you mean WE white eyes!".

Well SOW and HD riders have much in common, especially their mechanical advice which goes like this: "If you can't fix it with a hammer or a pair of vice grips (Chinese preferred) then you must have an electrical problem".

I'm not surprised John, the two nicest and most personable HD riders I met on the road were true 1%'s. I think it helped I was not in a rival gang but they openly talked to me first with respect and wanted to know how my ride was going that day. They were the exception to the rule in my 16 years of riding and 9 years as a MSF Coach.

We have had lots of complaints about this thread, but it has been going on for years and there have been many, many people who don't hate HD. Just the OP happened to decide to word it that way. It really gets their nickers in a twist when somehow a hardcore Harley rider accidentally stumbles on to the thread.

For most of us, the thread is just a message from a bunch of clowns on a website. For others, well you can imagine some of the threats the mods have recieved for not locking, banning, deleting, confiscating first born zanettis, etc.

I was liking that toaster with the Ducati sticker a whole bunch until I found oot it only toasts bread on one side. Still it would sell like hotcakes in a Harley store.

My apologies that my "Performance Art Project" has caused the mods here undue grief; but it should be noted that any GOOD performance art continues on in its classical satirical fashion constantly exposing the deep and dark idols of their hearts. In this case the idols of the orange and black cult.

As long as they think/feel/ believe/ worship HD's are "more than just a motorcycle" then this thread will never die.

I actually resigned my position this past August 2014 as a MSF Coach. My kids are getting older and need me more and it was time. 9 years coaching was a blessing but I am moving on to more important things.

As for SOW, funny you pose that question, as I can tell you that you can't coach somebody who already knows it all. Its the ultimate exercise in futility...even IF I brought my Harbor Freight vice grips with for more street 'cred'.

The attitude is just screams "Meathead"...you wave to any other bike and you get a wave back...but not from HD riders. They're clearly superior to us with their 1950's technology and their tasteful yet toothless pillions, blending ink and cellulite. Yetch!

The V Rod is moderately interesting but the whole company allure is based on nostalgia not substance.

I was told by a REAL Harley guy who rode a fully custom bagger with air ride that the only A-Holes of the Harley community are the 883 guys (which make up most of the harley population) But it makes sense. Guys who aren't real riders buy cheaper smaller engine bikes such as the 883's But my buddy with the harley is the one who sold me my 91 VFR.

This is one post that really does not have to include pix. Well, maybe a few Vrods to show we are not insensitive.

That's a real simple description. Even a Harley person should be able to understand it....................well some anyways.
