VFR Top Speed is ????

if candy can N/A tune to 130 mph, you know somethings up

 

I have not seen a supercharged Vfr quarter mile. I have Only seen eighth mile runs and those were stupid fast trapping at 115. Anyways I talked to toe cutter about this and it was cured with 100 pound clutch springs. So the engine and driveline is up to the task, it just needed some tweeking.

Anyways my last quart mile run was 10.8 flat at 128, uncorrected and untuned (so higher numbers are definitely possible). Also I still have not pulled the heads for porting/polishing/milling or bigger cams.

You guys better get ready to see some ridiculous numbers soon. I should have the rapid bike racing on by mid September and dialed in shortly there after. Once I have a perfect base map, we are going to tune the second map for a decent shot of nitrous

I've got an indicated 153 UK mph on my 6th Gen, it will do a bit more but that was with the givi rack and E55 Maxia 3 box on! Probably a bit more without them though I remember seeing somewhere that the vfr's are over geared and run out of power before they do top speed. It'll do an indicated 140 in 4th so 5th and 6th are just for cruising really

 

Amazing that oot of all the posts on how fast these individual bikes can go, there are only two dudes here with posted timing slips. In the meantime my mach 1 91 though unsupported by any evidence is the mostest fastest mofo (ing) VFR on the planet.

Any other source will do. Geographic location? Certification? Date? Temp? Time? Rider? Modifications to the bike?

Could you post the data aboot this bike run before you go? After 34 pages of fast bikes it would be really great to see just a little more actual evidence rather than trying to read an analog dial or an LCD screen thet displays type in the area of 10-12 point at well over 100mph.

45 teeth would net you 150 if your bike pulled hard and made power past 10k. Doesnt and wont for you. Youll see about 140 in top gear. 10.75-11 grand. Speedo will say 155-160.. utterly wrong though.

 

Don't let BB get you down 7yrs with a real bike is worth its weight in silver. There just happens to be some real nasty people here sometimes. Just stop posting for a while.
