Thanks. The Duc is great, rode it Saturday, and really enjoyed it.

If they make a RWB Edition of the new one, I'd have to seriously think about it. I don't know how I could reconcile having three bikes, especially when the VFR would be right between the two I have; but, that's to figure out another day. The Trumpet is almost paid off...

Maybe he was standing on his head at the time? Or maybe he is so use to supersport cartridge forks that he thought Honda got this one backward? I just do not know.....

Yeah, I have seen them reported a upside down in a few reports as well. It is almost like these guys are sitting at their computer/Ipad and regurgitating somone elses mistaken review. Oh well.

Anyway, these forks perform pretty darn good.

Can you guys that now have one confirm whether it has actual LED accent lighting around the headlights, or is it just a unique lens design that "catches" some of the light from the LED headlight to make it look like accent/DRL lights? I still haven't had a chance to swing by the dealer and check one out in person, but hopefully I'll own one within the next year.

Took a look at one a few days ago. If I get one, the first thing I'd like to do is paint it "asphalt black"

I recently got to see the red and white one at a dealer the other day. In pictures i loved the looks but not so much in person. Dont get me wrong it is still a very good looking bike but i think i still prefer the looks of my silver 08. It seemed as though the bars were not as wide either and that the gas tank was really high and that overall it seemed like a smaller bike than either the 5th or 6th gens. But im with another poster i would love to have those forks and wheels on my bike.

I thought he said it merely looks like upside down forks... Yeah, here's the quote:

Radial-mount Tokico calipers grace the fork, which only looks like it is an upside-down model.

Hello All. First post and all that. I just picked up the Deluxe version yesterday and I'm loving this bike.
I've ridden a few VFRs from several different generations and I think the upgrades and re-thinking that Honda has done doesn't look like much on paper, but when I rode my new one home from the dealer, it struck me that said revisions are worth more than the sum of their parts. The engine feels smoother (everywhere except below 3000 rpm) than any of the previous gens. It also is devoid of the V-Tec hit at around 7000 rpm that the previous generation suffered from. It is (at least by my reckoning) imperceptible (except by the really nice mechanical music) when the V-Tec comes online. It just feels like one nice rush (but not over-rush) of power from about 6500 rpm up. Also the single low mount silencer and front mounted radiators make worlds of difference in the heat (or lack thereof) that you feel. My RC51 used to roast my entire lower body on hot days, and the level of WTF having to do with those side mounted radiators was staggering. Suspension feels slightly more sporty that the last generation and the brakes on this bike are superb. One finger stopping superb.

Overall I'd say all of the little changes really do add up to quite a bit of improvement.

Can you email 2bros and tell them to build a full exhaust or GTFO?

I just did. it went like this.

    Dear Bitches,

Years ago you made a sweet ass, full S/S exhaust system for our beloved VFRs. I know, because I had one. Now, you try to make us happy with these slip on pipes that tease us with minor HP increases. I spoke to my boy CandyRed, who I've never met, mind you, but his bike is fuckin bad ass, and he said you fuckers need to build a full system or GTFO. And I concur. So get to steppin, bitches.

    Peace,

    Pliskin

I'll let you know there response once I hear.
