No doubt. I was just having fun and enjoying the other posts as well. I have no doubt that people look at my '07 RWB color scheme and think ... no, that's a bad example. The RWB is badass. I bet there are plenty of people who look at my mirrored visor and just ... geez, that's not going to work either. Mirrored visors are, as Snoop Dogg's grandma would say, the bee's shiz-knees. Haha!

The flat shield, I kind of like. The bubble shield, not for me. But like you said, to each his own and it's cool if you like that. You couldn't have been too surprised by some of the reactions though, right?

 

Not in the least, my tastes certainly don't suit everyone. Plenty of people already give me guff for riding a red, white, and blue bike built in 1986 anyway. But I wouldn't really have these things if I cared that much about what everyone thought. When I saw the Bell Bullit for the first time, it spoke to me. I'm not really sure what it said, but it spoke lol.

By the way, the Don Knotts before and after gave me a good chuckle.

 

Get one and take a pic, my helmet is werid-in the back it looks like a alien 1100 shoie with white and blue:behindsofa::kc10::yuck:

 

I saw this helmet before in black. Meh!
But in RWB... Awesome! With or without the bike to go with it. Dig the retro look and bubble just screams it in all it's panovision glory.
Seriously they need to make more retro badass lids.

Why not just get a normal (and newer looking) helmet and paint it to match? The flat face shield looks better, but not by much.

But how does it perform?
is it noisy?
How does the wind affect that bubble at speed?
I like the idea of having that extra space between my nose and the visor.
