:horn::boink::whip::spider:RC51 much worse than a 600 r6-and that thing suk in the seat and back department-the vfr is a Cadillac compared to those bikes especially with the sargent seat on-that I love. Bad billy I don't hump my seat. She males is a Bad Billy invention! or Billy the Kid same person. Rotten!

I got my VFR 750 singing again today. The fuel pump was very dull. Cleaning the points didn't help. I ordered a Mr Gasket pump. I doubt if I will ride it. Probably sell it and get a new dirt bike. Am 63.

67 pushing 68 injuries are starting to catch up not sure how much longer I can keep it up, short legs with numerous breaks over the years make getting on and off a bike pretty difficult

I'm 55 and taking my VFR to Seattle on Friday. 3269 miles round trip... Plus I'm 6'4"...

But I used to club race when I was in my 20's. I have always had some kind of sport bike since I graduated from dirt bikes when I was 16. I'm glad to see I'm not the only old guy out there on a, what my friends call, crotch rocket. They say I should grow up... I tell them to F off. :smile-new:

Update: just got back from my trip, 3987 miles! No problems, no worries. Love my VIFFR!!

    54 on 2010 7'th gen

Having the time of my life ... after 16 years on a cruiser.

After reading thru these posts, 54 seams to be the median
(arranging all the observations from lowest value to highest value and picking the middle one : -) ... although I didn't do the math.

$10,999 plus $300 plus tax for new dct, 1 mile on clock, at Track N Trail, State College, PA. He also has 2010 new for $7,999 plus $300 on the floor. I took the 2013 for the improvements over the 2010 discussed on this site and others. Before Test rode, I had imagined this bike would be too heavy for me at 600 lb, but it carries weight extremely well, even at parking lot speeds. I am especially impressed by well the low screen works after riding more upright on my previous steed. Still quite a bit of wind, but pleasant, not at all turbulent. I will likely add Sargent seat and Helibars over the winter. Not sure about lowering the pegs. Looks like it may generate foot brake positioning conflicts.
