I was looking at this light weight chain kit and it would seem to be a great performance trick-loose some weight where it really counts and these new DID chains seem to be really long lasting-should match the OEM chain Life and I like the gold color too.:mechanic::mechanic::tea::blah:

How about this setup- 16 front stock, 45 rear up 2- spocketcenter.com, sleath light weight rear, 520 DID top of line chain for 1200 that's a extra 25% in strength plus these chains are long lasting-it goes for $209 shipped. Takes maybe 2 pounds off and it will also make the bike more sporty down low-I don't go on the highway much,so lower gearing would work better.:black_eyed:

so leave the chain alone, and buy a 15T front sprocket.

any one try the spocketcenter.com and a did 520 16F and 45 rear chain kit? I think , I am going to try it because I can slow down 1 gear, so I can go extra slow over rough gravel and I can use the higher gears-on some back roads. I like taking off maybe 2 pounds off the drive train which is a lot on a bike.:fencing::fencing::fencing::shower::tinfoil3::flamer::strong::boxing2: I also joined a health club because I am just too weak in the arms and wrist.

you're going to notice the sprocket change, but definately not the weight. you'll just screw over your new chain faster. I don't care how superior, You think it is. you have to buy an insanely expensive 520 to have the strength of a bargain basement 530. and the weight savings really don't mean a damn thing unless you're washing out all the lube, and dyno queening it.

    it's 30 bucks, vs 210..

I'd rather save my money and buy a damn header.

Got the rapidbike2 installed. the extended rev limiter is SLICK. also, it feels like butter off the gas, no more silly amounts of engine brake. Also. I haven't gotten it tuned yet, so WOT, it's tossing black smoke out the pipes. Ahahaha!
