Just read up on the 2 accidents in WSBK, Lowes aggravated his prior ankle injury and Barrier broke his foot.

Is it just me or does it seem like a number of guys are optional g for GP bikes other than Ducati lately?

Well for Crutchlow, his Duc has been less than reliable and he really doesn't seem to be happy on it when it is running! Dovi on the other hand has had some success and appears to be doing OK for now. Must be an Italian thing.:smile-new:

    Ciao!

Now that Crutchlow is going to LCR, looks like Bradl is going to NGM Forward Racing next year! The foul up on his wet/dry setup at Sachsenring probably made it an easier decision for him! Next year looks to be gearing up for an interesting season.

I just got my first cell service in a long time, up in the north Cascades hiking and climbing. I think crazy Joe going to ride the Duc is a good idea as he has the style that might work for them. And now we can see what Cal can do on a real bike.

Seen a lot of VFR's up here. More Fold wings than anything though. 1 more day and back home.

If you don't care if you know the results of tomorrow's starting line up, check out MotoGP.com and watch the Indy Q2 Highlights video. You have to see the wild ass ride Pol Espargo took, friggin bronco ride but he managed to stay on 2 wheels!

It seemed like a really long break since the last race. Glad the action is back on now.

    Moto GP Brno Spoiler****************************

MM finally goes down. He said it actually king of a weight lifted off him. Did not have the same feel in his bike yesterday but was happy to grab points. When Pedro gets out front with no one fighting with him he can haul ass. First part of the race was fun, fairing banging with crazy Joe looked old school. roughed up the Doctor. Then it became a parade race.

I would have liked to see MM make even more history, but if he had to lose, I'm glad it was Pedro and not Jorge. I would have preferred Vale but I'll take Pedro over Jorge. It seem like MM was on his normal, let the crowd settle and I'll pick them off one by one but when he seemed stifled I figured something was wrong. Interesting little battle with Vale mid race and when I saw Vale pass him and he didn't return fire, I knew something wasn't right. Oh well, can't win them all and even MM knows that.

Seeing the last few races, having the Ducs get great qualifying positions seems to help improve the opening lap battles I.e. Ionne/Marquez, Dovi/Vale but personally I would like to see them closer to the front more often, especially after the checkered flag. It's great that Honda is sweeping this years series but having a Duc on the podium more often than not would suit me more, maybe it's an Italian thing!

    Ciao!

The thing with the Duc's being near the front at the start is they are taking advantage of the special rules for them. The softer tire has great grip at the beginning but fade. They end up begin dangerous speed bumps for the really fast guys. That is exactly how Danni and Jorge got away after they got past the Ducs. Did I mention I hate Dorna? lol

I get the reason and I also think it's not a "true" qualification in the context of the entire race (x number of laps), but it has created some exciting battles and as long as it doesn't cause accidents or injuries, I think I'm OK with it...for now. Still like to see more than Honda and Yamaha on the podium. For that matter, non factory riders as well. Maybe we'll start seeing Crutchlow or Bradl start making trips to the podium next year. Time will tell.

Only if Crutchlow gets a Japanese ride! lol The Duc is much better now. I think a lot of it goes to the new management of Luigi Dall'Igna.

It was very obvious that someone in the paddock switched
    Marc & Dani's bikes.

Well unless things have changed, Crutchlow is going to LCR and Bradl is going to NGM! Not sure if you caught that news.
